General conditions
1.Reservations
1.1 A reservation can be made by phone, e-mail or in writing. A deposit of 30%, paid within one week, is required to secure a booking.
1.2 The balance is to be paid at least 6 weeks before the rental period.
1.3 If for any reason you have to cancel your booking, we will make the charges pointed out in 2.
2. Cancellations
2.1 Cancellations have to be made in writing. After receiving your cancellation, a confirmation will be sent.
2.2 Up to 6 weeks before your holiday, half your total fee will be forfeited.
2.3 6 weeks or less before your holiday, the whole fee will be forfeited.
2.4 Please be sure to take out holiday insurance which includes cancellation cover.
3. Breakage deposit and responsibility
3.1. During your stay at the gites the tenant is fully responsible for the rented gite and everything in and around it. Any damage caused by the tenant, travelling-companions and guests, must be immediately refunded to the landlord.
3.2. The breakage deposit for Le Soleil Dordogne amounts to 300 euro. The deposit is required when the balance is paid. The breakage deposit will be refunded within one weeks after your departure, if there have been no breakages and/or damages to the gite.
4. Responsibility of the landlord
4.1 The landlord cannot be held responsible for losses, theft, damage or injury of any kind, caused by or because of tenants of the gites.
5. Maximum amount of persons, guests and pets
5.1 Your party should not be larger than indicated on our website.
5.2 Guests should be announced to the landlord at all times and are not allowed to use the swimming pool.
